Through a convection oven, heat is focused toward the food, allowing the food to cook faster. Sometimes, the cooking time is cut down to half because of this process.

Through traditional cooking, we have to facilitate the process in order to make sure that heat is evenly distributed. Through the use of a convection oven, we do not have to do these things in order to make sure that the food is cooked evenly. A convection oven allows us to take care of other important matters while cooking, since we do not have to consistently watch over the food while it’s cooking. We just need to know the exact temperature and time setting recommended for a certain dish.
