You need great patience to get BBQ Beef ribs cooked to perfection and there’s an art to it.

Now let’s see how you can get your BBQ ribs in the oven to taste mouth wateringly delicious.

One way to do this is by pre-cooking the ribs by steaming or boiling before they are cooked in the oven. By using this method the flavor of the ribs can be enhanced. However, you should not forget to season the ribs before pre-cooking them. Pre-cooking of ribs can be done for a period of anything from 1 to 3 hours depending on the type of ribs and how you are preparing to cook them later, meaning in the oven or grill.

Here are the types of ribs that can be barbecued: 188

?Beef Ribs – Takes a long time to cook because of their size. Should definitely be pre-cooked before being put in the oven since they are tough.

Pre-cooking Ribs in the Oven
Wrap the ribs in tinfoil and bake them in an oven set at 225 degrees for about 5 hours or until you feel they are ready for the grill. Slow baking them will make the ribs really tender and is even better than boiling or steaming the ribs.

Coating the Ribs with Sauce
Once the ribs are ready for the grill, coat them with the sauce of your choice, there are so many great BBQ sauces available in the market. First coat them on one side and grill the ribs which will help the ribs to absorb the sauce well.

Coating and grilling alternatively
In about 5-10 minutes time, open the grill and flip the ribs on to the other side coat with sauce and close the grill. You should do this at least three times; coat, grill, open the grill, flip the other side, coat and grill. This is what will help the ribs to get properly marinated to bring out the flavor and also keep the meet on the bone.

Now you have the perfect BBQ beef ribs cooked in the oven. Be sure to keep them coming on because your guests will be clamoring for your mouth wateringly delicious BBQ beef ribs cooked following this method.

Once they have been pre-cooked just throw them on the grill for 5-10 minutes a side and brush on your favorite barbeque sauce. Before you know it you will have perfectly grilled ribs that are ready to eat.
Stage 1) Cooking the ribs in advance
Stage 2) Coating the ribs
There are a million BBQ beef rib sauce recipes out there but only a few out there know how to make really great sauces worth using in my opinion. Most don't show how to cook the ribs right with the sauce. We want to go for absolute mouth watering! Once the ribs are out of the oven however, you'll set them on the grill curve side down and coat them with sauce.
Stage 3) the coat, grill stage
When the BBQ grill is closed and reaches a temperature of around 300 degrees you will open it, flip the beef ribs and coat the other side. You will do this about three times. This is a great technique: coat, grill, coat, grill, coat, and grill. This caramelizes the sauce and the sauce then holds the meat together so it doesn't fall of the bone before it gets to the plate!
Just the fact that you have to prepare for that happening (meat falling off the bone) is indication that you know how to cook BBQ beef ribs right!
